Something New

At long last after a decision that took almost a millenia, I’ve decided that I would finally try my hand at blogging. Prior to this, I’ve actually been quite active over at deviantArt as well as Flickr where I’ve regularly posted my illustrations and photography. As much as I love these two sites, I thought that I would take a chance and try out a third medium; hence the birth of my humble blog. There are certain things to which the artistry of words are able to describe when there are no visuals or pictograms to represent an idea. Each and every form of media has its particular strengths, and I most certainly plan on exploring this new form perhaps as an exegesis to the unformed words and abstract ideas prancing around in my grey matter.

I’ve always been a visually oriented person, and the search for good visual design and clever ideas bring me great revelry. But at the opposite end of the scale, I’ve also come across things that are just so horribly wrong that they too deserve a footnote, or at least a warning label of minor doom. Either way, I think it’ll be quite fun to just share these things as I encounter them. Genius or pure idiocy, there is value in entertainment!

well, in my humble opinion there’s no solid rights or wrongs when it comes to art. As long as it contains a story behind every piece, it definitely be a good medium to share and convey a message. That makes art a fun way to learn.. and feel free to make mistakes! It might be the best mistake ever done! I have few piece which i thought a mistake, but turned out quite good.

And dear.. welcome to the bloggers club. I’m glad you finally made one! ;)

Thank you so very much for the warm welcome my dear marshmallow :)

I agree, on top of the tools and craft that goes into making something, the artistry of weaving a story is what makes it a beautiful process. And indeed, sometimes mistakes and accidents themselves can lead to something far greater. The unexpected path is often the most interesting!

    Mmmmm. Pork.

…you know, have you ever actually looked at the word “pork”?

It’s right up there with “hump” as One Of The Stupidest-Looking Words Ever.

    lmao @ wad + meljean :D

Pork is quite the versatile word really: maximum porkage - porking the rear - he was porked, hard - ultimate porker - quite porkful - porkifier - that’s porkification!

hehehhehe…pork is one damn versatile word! We still have to make that short film where the pork loving Moslem gets stoned for his illicit love.
